Day 2 – September 10

At work I got a call from Leanne – a personal trainer from 24 Hour Fitness.  She called to set up my new member free fitness orientation/training session.  We scheduled it for Saturday at 7am.  Today I did another session on the Elliptical for 30 minutes.  Many thanks goes out to the Black Eyed Peas to help me push through those last 10 minutes! 🙂

Day 1 – September 9

Today I bought my gym membership to 24 Hour Fitness online.  After a wake up call and some motivation from my best friend, I knew I had wasted too much time “trying to get back into shape” and I knew I had to take the bull by the horns.  I got to the gym around 7pm.  There was a nice, busy buzz in the atmosphere.  Everyone was about their business.  I showed the front desk lady my confirmation page and signed up for the cardless check in.  Woo!  Thank goodness no more membership card and ID to get in!

Once my belongings were stored away in the locker room, I hit the elliptical.  I went longer than I should have on my first day back to working out.  Nevertheless, I logged 45 minutes and called it a day.

Day 1 accomplished! 99 more to go 🙂

Hello world!

Welcome to my blog!  This blog will initially serve as a journal of my 100 Day Fitness Challenge.  100 consecutive days in the gym.  Since this challenge runs into Thanksgiving, one day may have to be done at home or out in the great outdoors (luckily I live in Hawaii).  Thanks for stopping by!  Feel free to subscribe and join me on this journey 🙂
